Breakfast sale at Winn-Dixie

Just a quick reminder.  Winn-Dixie has been running their breakfast sale this week which, for them, ends Tuesday night.  So, you can get 4 boxes of cereal or granola bars for 4 for $10 and, when you buy all 4, you'll get a gallon of Winn-Dixie brand milk for free as well.  I don't know about you but whenever we hear the words free milk at our house we pay attention.  I also noticed that Target is picking up on the same idea this week with free milk with 3 boxes of cereal at $2.99 apiece so take your pick.

This week Winn-Dixie is selling Hamburger Helper, regularly $1.69, for $1.  Save another $0.50 with coupon from Betty Crocker website.  That makes the total price only $0.50.

Summary: Hamburger Helper: $1.69 - $0.69 for sale price - $0.50 coupon = $0.50 (70% savings)

$0.60 for Campbell's Soup at Winn-Dixie

Right now Winn-Dixie is selling Campbell's condensed soups for $1.  You can find that on page one of their circular.  In the store, though, I also discovered that they were selling the tomato and chicken noodle varieties for even lower, $0.80 each.  Pair that with a coupon for $1 off five cans that you can find at Campbell's site and you are now paying $0.60 for each can.  Winter is coming so start stocking up on healthy soup now!

Took a little trip to CVS today and found some great savings.  They had their Abound granola bars on sale for $3.99 each, a savings of $.30 each which doesn't sound significant but they are also running a promotion this week where they will give you $5 Extra Care Bucks (ECB) back when you buy $20 of these Abound products which means I saved another dollar off each of the 5 boxes I bought.  I also bought a gallon of milk which was their regular price of $3.79 but gave me another $1 ECB.  If you're not familiar with ECB's it is a program that CVS uses to encourage buying certain products and/or greater quantities of certain products.  When you buy the right product/amount of product you will find these ECB's printed at the bottom of your receipt where they can be cut or torn off and used as payment on your next purchase whether it is another day or a separate transaction done right then.  In fact I used the $6 I got back to immediately pay for almost everything else I was getting on this trip.  When I got home with my purchases I used my Ibotta app to get an additional $1 rebate.

Summary:
1 Gallon of milk: $3.79 - $1 ECB - $1 Ibotta rebate = $1.79 (savings of 52%)

4 Boxes of Abound granola bars $4.29 x 5 = $21.45 - $1.50 in sale savings - $5 ECB = $14.95 (savings of 30%)
