Deep Discounts On Deodorant At Target

Right now at Target there is another great opportunity to get a great deal on deodorant and money back (in the form of a Target gift card).  When you purchase 4 select personal care items Target will give you a $5 Target gift card at checkout, to be used on future purchases.  Add a couple of $2/2 coupons to those 4 purchases and stack the savings.  There are a lot of different ways to cash in on the $5 gift card offer but here is what I am looking at.

Save 45% On Charmin And Puffs At CVS

Here's another great cash (ECB) deal from CVS.  This week, when you spend $15 on select Charmin, Bounty and Puffs products, CVS will give you $5 back in Extra Care Bucks (ECB) to use on your next purchase.  Add in a few coupons and bring your total savings to 45%.

Summary:
Buy 2 Charmin Basic 12 packs ($5.99 each) and 3 boxes of Puffs ($0.99) for a total of $14.95
- 2 $0.50/1 coupons for Charmin Basic (PG 9-27)

Here's another great chance to stack up your savings to get an even better deal.  This week CVS has a lot of Pantene products on sale for 2/$8.  Even better, if you purchase 2 they will give you $2 in ECB's to use on future purchases.  Add a couple of $1.50/1 coupons from the Proctor & Gamble coupon insert of 9/27 and the savings really get tremendous.

The new ad is out and Target is giving away more free money.  This week, for example, when you buy 2 129 oz (150 loads) Downy fabric softener for $8.99 each they will give you a $5 Target gift card for use on your next purchase.  Add a couple of coupons for $1/1 to bring the savings to 39%.

Free Money To Shop

I love free stuff.  No doubt about that.  Even better than free stuff is free money to spend how you like.  This is a growing trend in retail it seems which is great for the consumer and the retailers.  The three biggest retailers doing this are Target, giving Target gift cards, CVS, giving ECB's, and Walgreens with their rewards points and register rewards.  Here's a great example of this free money in this week's Target ad:
